Titled "Postcards from New York," every individual piece on display is a manifestation of Burgerman's personal experiences as an immigrant from the UK living in the bustling metropolis of New York City. Although the city oozes with vitality and dynamism, there exists an underlying sentiment of never entirely assimilating into the milieu. Through his characters, Burgerman delves into a gamut of emotions and intimates that non-conformity may be acceptable, as it is our differences that unify us.
